Unique Christmas Gifts
This year give her something unique for Christmas. I have designed a collection of chainmaille coin purses (and one beaded) that are really cute and fun. It always amazes me the way these metal bags feel so silky. All the purses are available in my Etsy shop.

Everything old is new again
Back in the 20’s chainmaille mesh purses were all the rage. There were tiny coin purses just big enough to hold a nickel. This was to be used to make an emergency phone call home if your date got fresh and you needed a ride home. And there were larger evening bags that were perfect to wear with your flapper dress.
My mother-in-law had a tiny coin purse that I was given after she passed away. The nickel was still in it! This inspired me to make a more modern chainmaille coin purse. I couldn’t find rings small enough to duplicate the vintage purse and if they were available I wouldn’t be able to see them!
I love art deco and 1920’s clothing. What is your favorite era?
